2025 DWGC Representatives in the
Tournament of Champions
This year’s Tournament of Champions was held November 11 at Sierra View Country Club. Our Davis Team consisted of:
Lori Brooks, Judy Wettstein, Georgia Prescott, and Donna Turcot.
The Results are in:
LOW GROSS
Lori and Judy tied for 8th place with a score of 89.
Georgia ranked 23rd with a 99. and Donna 36th with a 119.
LOW NET
Georgia 5th place with a score of 73
Judy 11th place with a score of 77
Lori 14th place with a score of 78
Donna 33rd with a score of 88.
Special recognition to Georgia and Judy for earning Haggin Oaks gift cards.
George finishing 5th low net over the field and 3rd in her flight,
and Judy finishing 4th in her flight.

2025 Club Champions!
What an exciting finish to our 2025 Club Championship.
Lori Brooks and Judy Wettstein tied low gross over 2 days then headed to a sudden death play off. It took 3 holes to declare a winner with Lori making the winning putt. Congratulations to both players for a terriffic ending.
Our two low net winners were Renee Dec taking first and Donna Turcot in second.
A huge shout-out to all the players who participated and making this a huge success!

Lori Brooks organized and actually pulled off a SURPRISE
Birthday Celebration for our Captain Berta.
With so many volunteers we had the best luncheon.
With fancy tablecloths and center pieces.
Hamburgers with all the fixings, macaroni salad, kale salad, fresh fruit salad and of course cake!

Lynette Temple
Wow, not only did Lynette Temple get a great hole in one…she did it during the Club Championship where we had our biggest participating crowd ever!
There wasn’t a lot of cheering when this happened, I think they were all stunned.
Lynette tees up on #7, launches her ball, hits the water, skipped up onto the green, and lands in the hole? We’re not sure, they could still see the ball. Upon further investigation the ball was trapped between the edge of the hole and the pin! NOW the cheering can begin!!
