Description of event
Attached is an adventure in golf rules challenge quiz highlighting rules for certain holes at Davis Muni that are frequently experienced during a round of DWGC golf.
The game on February 14th involves keeping your golf score and taking the adventure in golf rules quiz challenge. While it can be tempting to overlook the Rules due to their complex nature, all golfers stand to benefit by familiarizing themselves with the Rules. This is part of the players code of conduct.
It is highly recommended that you take this quiz. New members and those not playing golf that day are still responsible for taking the quiz, returning it to Judy, Janice or Roberta at your convenience.
Directions:
A. You must complete this quiz individually. Seek the answers on your own. Return your scorecard and quiz to the snack bar.
B. Make your own personal copy. Answer the questions at home and/or during your round of golf. Please keep up pace of play. You may use the DWGC handbook, USGA website or DWGC website as resources to find the correct answer. Bring a pen or pencil to the snack bar following your round of golf where we will examine your answers.
C. Dan Wettstein, NCGA Rules Official will be meeting us following our round of golf to review all questions/answers and to clarify any answers.
There is a reward for completing the quiz and being present for the rules review following golf.
